Welcome to the RSVP page for Welcome Week 2011! We are so excited for you to get here as we kick off the 2011/2012 school year. Some events during Welcome Week are mandatory and others are just for your enjoyment, however it is highly recommended that you attend all of the events. Move-in Day
Move-In Group 1 (Hegel Hall and North Rim Apartments)
*This move in time is only for residents moving into Hegel Hall and the North Rim Apartments. Please make sure that you attend the correct move in time for your respective living community.
Lunch (Quad)
*Students will be able to use their ID cards to swipe for their meal and will be given 2 complimentary tickets per meal for family members.
*Additional tickets may be purchased in the Student Union prior to every meal.
Move-In Group 2 (Canyon and Prescott Halls)
*This move in time is only for residents moving Canyon and Prescott Halls. Please make sure that you attend the correct move in time for your respective resident community.
Commuter Student Check-In (Arena)
*Make sure to check-in to get your meal tickets and other important information.
*Commuter students are also required to attend all activities, beginning with dinner on Day 1, August 25th.

University Convocation (Arena)
*You don't want to miss this! Convocation is a service where the entire G.C.U. community comes together to kick off the new year.
Ice Cream Social: Parents and Students (Quad)
*Immediately following Convocation, parents and students will join together on the Quad for ice cream, before saying goodbye for the evening.
All Campus Residence Meeting (South Gym) **Mandatory**
*This is a mandatory meeting for all campus residents.
*Come to this meeting dressed for Canyon Clash.
Student Event: Canyon Clash (Mariposa Lawn)
*Come dressed in your most clashy outfit possible.
*Commuter students meet on Mariposa Lawn.
Friday, August 26th

*This is an opportunity for parents to see how their student can get involved and have the best experience possible here at G.C.U. Come find out about student resources, campus safety, facilities and usage, and much more!
New Student Orientation (South Gym)
*Commuter and residential students required to come.
*As a student it is important to find out how to best utilize all that is offered at G.C.U. It is our desire that you have a great experience and the information here will help you do that.
Break
* Use this time to see your AC/FC, finish moving in, go shopping for last minute items.
Meet the Deans (Locations TBA)
*This is a great opportunity to meet the Deans of your respective colleges. Come hear their visions and find out how to be successful in your program.

*Come meet the campus Pastor and staff and find out what's happening in Spiritual Life on campus.
Farwell Lunch: Parents it's time to say goodbye (Quad)
Student Event: Crazy Canyon Cool Down and Dinner
*Meet on your hall at 5:30pm.
*Commuter students meet in the Student Union at 5:30pm.

Student Event: University Fair (South Gym)
*The University Fair is an opportunity for you to see various outside businesses close to the University, get free stuff, and to see all the student organizations, clubs, and student ministries that G.C.U. has to offer.
Thursday, September 1st
Student Event: Walk-in Movie (Quad)
*Come enjoy popcorn and candy as you watch a movie on the Quad. Bring your blanket or towel to lounge on.
Friday, September 2nd
Student Event: Pool Party Luau, Karaoke, and Dinner (Pool & Canyon Cafe)
*Come dressed in your hawaiin gear and get ready to sing!
